Experience
After learning a great deal in my startup myRebates.com, I was excited to begin my tenure at Monster Worldwide (formerly TMP Worldwide). Although the Internet bubble starting to burst in the spring of 2000, the job market and overall industry was still pretty strong when I arrived at Monster (September 2000).
The Monster work environment felt very much like a start-up; fast paced work environment and those who gets things done are recognized; it was very entrepreneurial back in 2000. This was a stark contrast to my days at AT&T, but a welcomed environment especially since I was coming off my own startup.

While at Monster Worldwide, I have learned a great deal, especially by working directly with clients, this has been an invaluable experience. In addition, applying software development best practices in an advertising agency was always a challenge. I worked with great people during my tenure at Monster and we had some pretty remarkable accomplishments.

Sincerely,

Throughout my tenure at Monster, I have had many opportunities to augment my abilities. With each new position came added responsibilities and new challenges. I started in September of 2000 with primary task to create a national team of technologists to develop corporate career websites. As time went on my role evolved and grew. As a VP of Global Engineering I worked with other VP's in coordinating and implementing standard operating protocols for all software engineers (worldwide); responsible for the leadership and direction of software products in the recruitment, government and education sectors.

In my last two years I was Divisional CIO and led the company wide (Monster) Product & Technology Portfolio Management initiative (Prosight Portfolio's) which aligned the global product roadmap and technology resources. I drove executive and regional level strategy meetings which lead to the creation of business cases for IT development efforts. In addition, I participated in IT corporate governance initiatives and worked closely with sales organizations on sales effectiveness.
